Spiced Citrus Vetiver Update

The formula for the new Spiced Citrus Vetiver is done and I’m batching it. I ran out of one bergamot but will get more Tuesday. I expect to have samples up soon and bottles by the end of the week. I really like how it turned out!

  1. Maceration! Looking forward to this. So often I draw the line; no more vetiver. I love vetiver and think I have enough. Then along comes….Spiced Citrus Vetiver. Well, what to do Laurie? This one is calling me and the answer is Yes. Great concept and I will be wafting it. Earlier this year I planted the entire back yard in vetiver instead of grass. Its roots are popular in NZ to save our crumbling coastline cliffs.

    1. Hi Jordan,
I’ve read about using vetiver to stabilize the soil! Would love to see pictures sometime. I have a lot of grasses in my garden (mostly Calamagrostis x acutiflora ‘Karl Foerster’ and Pennisetum orientale), so maybe I could try a vetiver. I wonder if it can grow here (or if it would take over). Glad Spiced Citrus Vetiver sounds interesting!

      1. Oh and I forgot to say that my SOTD was Jour…garnered me TEN compliments including the postal clerk who knows me by name now given the number of packages I mail out-LOL!

  2. Well that makes me feel good about Jour! And I’m on first name basis with the mailman too, not to mention the UPS and FedEx drivers…Most people who read this blog probably know their mail carriers pretty well too, lol.

    1. Yep πŸ™‚ My office moved 10 months ago (not too far though) and today a mailman still broght a package sent to my old address to the new office.
