Review of Winter Woods, and update
A beautiful review of Winter Woods was posted today on Chemist In The Bottle. Thanks so much, Lucas!
I’m still working my way through the backlog of things that need to be done around here. I finished updating the inventory sheets and am doing some reorganization in the lab. I’m giving my back lots of down time and it’s coming around, but slowly. I have a medical appointment next Tuesday the 19th and will wait until after that to put the cart up, but I’m still not sure when. Don’t feel shy to email me if you need something in the meantime though.
It’s been very spring-like here. We’re supposed to warm up to 70 degrees F on Thursday! I see buds just starting to form on the daffodils and plum tree, so it won’t be too long before we have spring flowering trees and bulbs. Spring comes early here, but I like that. 🙂
My pleasure Laurie! I will keep those reviews regularly coming in.
Sending some good vibes toward you for healing!
🙂
I hope the warmer weather will help with your recovery – good luck x
Thanks, Maggie! I’m doing well. It’s hard not to feel optimistic in spring. 🙂
Fantastic to see another review of of one of your fragrances which also happens to be one of my favorites…although on me Winter Woods is a deep, dark complex vanilla (although no notes of vanilla in it 🙂 !!).
The amber accord has some vanilla, and the musk is sweet too so they both add sweetness to counter the woodsy elements. It’s interesting how the balance of dry/sweet plays out differently on different people’s skins and to different noses! There can be a lot of variation.
I’m amassing a list of things I *need* when the cart goes back up, but for now I’ll just wish you very well with healing your back. I really empathize!
Thanks so much, Sam!
