Fun EO Site
Here’s a fun site with interesting info on natural perfumery ingredients and their chemical constituents. This link has been given a few times before on various boards, but if you’ve not caught it before you might enjoy a peek.

I’m so sorry, but with filling many Christmas orders and running behind, I’ve decided it would be better to put off the Nostalgie release until January. I’ll shoot for early January right after the holidays so we’ll still have many months of cool weather for wearing Nostalgie. I’ll try to make samples available before the…
We drew a winner today from an empty flower pot for the sample give-away and I have the package ready to ship when I hear back to get the winner’s address. I wondered today if there is a high tech way to do the draw, but we did it the old-fashioned way. I didn’t get…
I put the shopping cart back up and will add the remaining scents as I continue the moss reformulations. I do have a couple ounces left of Winter Woods ready to go, so email me if you want to add a bottle of that to your order (I’ll add it back to the list after…
Thanks, Birgit, for your beautifully written review of Jour Ensoleille on Olfactoria’s Travels! Glad you like it! When I sent out the parfum bottle for the Nostalgie drawing winner today, I was wishing I was an expert at baudruchage (a traditional method of securing the stopper with thread or cord). Here’s a fun little video…
I’ve started working with the new Biolandes low-atranol oakmoss and it should be quite nice to use. I’m trying a bit of Evernyl in a new formula to see how the two work together, with both in small quantities. Evernyl, or Veramoss, is the only moss substitute I’ve tried so far that I’ve liked, though…
I think I’ll leave Fireside Intense as is and just put in the new moss for the old, which seems to work fine. I tried leaving out the choya, but I really missed the quirky, smoky animalic note it adds so I’ll leave it in. I’ll run this past a few people who love the original…
This is quite the interesting site. Thanks for posting it!
